Most businesses have a large number of employees that aren’t tethered to a desk, whether that means they are on the shop floor, “on property,” working remotely, or “in the field.” Beekeeper was the first vendor we saw with momentum and scale providing a self-proclaimed  “Slack for non-desk employees.”  Their early momentum was largely in hospitality and retail environments. Now, with their series B, they plan to bridge the gap between knowledge workers and their non-desk counterparts, and further expand its offering with new features and integrations, extending their ecosystem via a marketplace.
