Connecteam announced a $37 million Series B round of venture capital for its workforce management app for deskless workers. This brings its total raised to $38 million. Founded in 2016, Connecteam’s 10,000-plus global customers span 60 countries. During 2020, the company saw customer growth of more than 400%, and now has over 150,000 active users. The company grew its team by 300% to meet the rising demand.

Some estimate as much as 80% of the workforce fitting in the deskless category. Most are forced to use desk-bound devices for a significant part of their work, putting a drag on productivity, worker engagement, customer experience, and more. One of the deficiencies in the work tech stack exposed by the COVID pandemic.
