Internships took a major hit as many employers just weren’t ready to onboard this year’s class of interns in a remote working model, and with so much uncertainty. Forage raised a $9.3 million Series A to take the whole process virtual. One of the trends accelerated by COVID was the merging of learning and employment with the formation of schools like Make School or with the funding of job board marketplaces that provide some level of skills training or accredited learning. This is a natural extension of that trend and one to watch.
